- Everybody has anxiety, stress or depression in their life.
- Hopefully stress causes a motivation for change or adaption.
- High stress can trigger changes in behaviour, thinking and emotions
- If in distress get HELP and create empowerment for SELF.
- Step back & decide - What's important?
- Remember, the family, can be part of the solution.
- If able, communicate your new thoughts & feelings.
- Focus on learning, coping strategies, that increase well-being.
- Start with the easy stuff - exercise, quiet time, keep cool (etc)
- Look after yourself (as neglect affects immune function). Yoga

- If family members snore - fix it, to improve sleep & breathing
- It's vital for health, that eating & digestion be stress free.

I RELAX by breathing properly, which keeps my heart beat regular. Which rests my adrenal system. I try to think happy thoughts & smile, rather than frown. I find this relaxes my head to shoulder muscles & prevents headaches. Music is therapy for me. I sing in a multi-cultural choir. We are happier when it's performance season. Probably because I'm happier. Note: Good hydration is also important for health & to flush toxins. - D

High Blood Pressure, Low self-confidence, Tiredness, Disturbed Sleep,
Upset stomach, Headaches, Irritability, Lost concentration, Depression, Resentment & Withdrawal.

Positive effects of Stress:
Motivated, Challenged, Energized, Excited, Self-confident, Goal oriented, Clear thinking, Healthy?

Suggestions to manage stress
Be flexible, Exercise, Say "no", Laugh, Eat slowly & well,
Accept & learn from mistakes
Deep Breathing, Communicate, Stop procrastinating, P L A Y !

Make POSITIVE change to reduce NEGATIVE stress.

Females have a capacity to use social contact with others
to reduce the effect of stress. That is why they live longer.

Stress can be of our own making.
We realise that the childs early years are the most important.
Time goes fast especially when little progress is perceived. There is a lot of stress on the family unit also, especially when so much effort, is required for the special child.

Stress contributes to as many as 80% of all major illnesses?
Cardiovascular disease,cancer, skin disorders, weakened immune systems,
back problems, panic attacks, originate from long-term stress.
To heal an illness, promoting vibrant health & preventing premature aging,
it is important to gradually move towards a daily life that is less stressful.
One way to be less stressed is to become very quiet some time in your day.
Meditation is very beneficial to reducing the effects of stress in the body.
